Title: Evorel sequi vs. Estradot and utrogestan
Post by: floraljo on April 26, 2024, 09:12:54 AM
Hi,
I'm on estradot 75 and utrogestan. Due to some side effects of the utrogestan and my own poor compliance with it, I'm wondering about changing to everol sequi. However I'm confused about whether I can be on a dose of 75 with that? I can only see doses of 50.

Are there are reasons that estradot plus utrogestan is better than everol sequi? And how do dose increases happen with everol sequi patches? Would I need to wear two patches?

Utro is supposed to be better because it's body identical though I have problems with it but was fine on noresthisterone in evorel conti patches (had to change due to allergic reaction). Conti patches only come in 50mcg, no idea why they think every meno needs the same dose. You could use 1.5 patches if your gp agrees, some don't. Or provera or mirena or cyclogest though that isn't licensed for hrt

Thank you. Hmm it's a shame they don't do a dose higher than 50.
