Hi All, I have just started HRT, on my 2nd Evorel Conti patch (so far, so good - hot spells dramatically reduced immediately!) but my question is, how do you remove the adhesive left on your skin after changing patch? My first one left a slightly dark, fluffy outline where it was, I have tried a shower scrunchy but it's still there. Sounds daft, but I didn't want to scrub away at the absorption site too much? ???

Hi! Try baby oil and cotton wool ball. That should do the trick.

Thank you! I don't have baby oil but will try some coconut oil.

baby oil works well - i think better than coconut. I had to wear lots of patches and had lots of residue.
You should anyway rotate the site so don't think there's a problem with scrubbing away once you've taken it off/moved elsewhere.
The other thing i was recommended are zoff surgical wipes (from Amzon). I liked those less (more surgical-smelling and packaging faff) but they do work well too.
Hope it keeps helping you xx

Defo baby oil and a cotton pad. You still have to rub a bit but comes off.
I saw an ad on insta for a reusable remover pad. Wonder if that works better?

Nudi spray - someone told me about it and it’s great
