I've had a couple of brown discharge to brugandy spotting or discharge that has lasted for up to 40 days. I have seen a doctor and they say it's fine, I didn't have anything at all yesterday and thought it had finally gone, today I have my normal discharge colour but with some red almost veins running through it. I'm now confused if this if finally this one ending or starting all over again. Has anybody else experienced this?

It mayB that your hormones are no longer 'strong' enough to cleanse the womb so it's seeping. Fresh blood is nothing to be worried about.
How long since your last proper period, if you can remember back that far ::)
Mine waxed and waned: I knew it was The Change so wasn't particularly worried, sometimes I would get shows that seamed into each other without a gap. Brown discharge is old blood which has got left behind - it would happen to me every month: I would bleed heavily with clots then stop for 2 days followed by 24 hours of brown. 'normal for me'.

Last period was about 2 weeks ago

How is the show this morning? It's probably slow release due to a lack of hormone.
