Menopause specialist advised me to increase my HRT due to ongoing night sweats. I’m on everol conti so she advised using 1 and half patches. Started spotting after 2nd patch change. I was kind of expecting it but wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this? Been on everol conti for 4 years and had a tiny bit of spotting in 1st 3 months. TIA

Is there any info in the leaflet in the box? Sometimes upping a nightly dose can cause spotting as the body adjusts . If necessary put the product name into the search box to read threads, make notes ;-)

My understanding is that after any dose change (up or down) spotting or bleeding within the first few months is 'normal' as in nothing about which to worry, but that very heavy bleeding or prolonged or later should be investigated. Hth xx
