Hi, I feel like I am having prior type symptoms - lower stomach pains and sore breasts. I am on the continuous pill so I haven’t had a period for years and don’t know if I still have them. I’m 51 and started HRT in 2020.
I increased my dose from 50 to 75 two months ago. Plus I’ve changed progesterone type from gel capsules utrigestan to a tablet form because it’s likely I’m sensitive to progesterone.
Is this usual to have these symptoms and will it be monthly like a normal cycle? Or do I need to adjust my hrt again?
Thanks Emily

Don't know if this helps, but I still get PMS symptoms, the sore tender boobs, slight cramps and as always, mood swings.
I am late onset peri aged 57 now. I assume given my symptoms I am still peri anyway. With the Mirena I don't have bleeds. So for me I think hormones are still fluctuating on a ' normal ' cycle.
