Hi, I’m Sarah, 56 years old and finding this journey very difficult.
Worst symptoms are dry mouth, low mood, weight gain, bleeding gums and digestive problems.
The dry mouth is driving me mad at the moment.
I also have an under active thyroid which seems to be behaving badly too.
I’m really looking forward to chatting with you and thanks for having me.

Morning - :welcomemm:
Thyroid function can go awry as other hormones kick in/out in peri menopause. Have U had a blood test recently? There are others here with thyroid function problems so hopefully they will be along with advice. Would weight gain by another symptom of dis-function?
As hormones levels drop the body may become dry: inside and out. There are pastels [pastilles :-\] in the chemist which may help.
An appt with your Dentist or hygienist ? Bleeding gums may be a sign of another problem, as we age gums recede = loose teeth :o.
Some find that keeping a mood/food/syptom diary of help to chart progress.

Welcome both! I find it's helpful to share concerns with others. There's usually someone who has had similar experiences / symptoms who can offer support
