Title: Silly question?!
Post by: LosMos on March 06, 2024, 03:36:06 PM
Hi there,

Please excuse my ignorance, but is it possible to have a slight thickening of uterus lining and vaginal atrophy at the same time??  :-\

Yep.  What did the scan show your thickening to be?  I think 5mm is within expected limits.  I don't that that U have to stop the VA treatment unless a Consltant makes the suggestion.

I don't know what the thickening showed. She told me it was slightly thickened, during an ultrasound examination, so was going to do a biopsy and remove a polyp - I was so terrified by that that I didn't ask about the thickening! I was quite overwhelmed by the experience of the biopsy/polyp removal which I found extremely uncomfortable/painful that I wasn't quite thinking straight enough to ask questions, I just wanted to get out of there!

Still waiting results but going back on Saturday for them to have a look with a camera.too

I suggest that you take a list of your worries with you as well as asking the question about the thickening.  Let us know how you get on.

Also, NOWT is silly on here so ask away  ;)
