Title: Jittery and foggy head upon reducing patch mg
Post by: Vicky81 on March 02, 2024, 09:52:24 AM
Hi all hope you are all well...

Anyone experienced the jittery head, foggy brain, feeling out of it when reducing your oestrogen patch or gel (when dose has been too high for you)??
If so how long did it take for these side effects to go please? Xxx

Hi

I experience this when increasing or decreasing. It normally lasts a few days but I take propanol to mitigate it.

Possibly yes, but I also messed my patches up by a week, so not totally sure.

I've had awful head fog problems all week, I had lowered my estradiol slightly.  Migrainey, ringing in the ears, getting my words mixed up (that worries me), not enjoying conversation (hard work).  Does any of that fit with you?  I think I might have had labyrinthitis symptoms this week too though.

Glad you said that. I’m really sensitive to oestrogen and trying gel at a tiny tiny dose and feel very jittery about twenty mins after applying.

I was wondering whether gel is more of a big hit each day rather than more consistent like the patches?

But maybe this is just initial effects
