Hello again!
Just a quick update- so after upping to 75mg on my patch- I had a funny turn in work this morning.
Came off ward to use computer and after a few mins realised I could barely make out an email
I've suffered with eye floaters since my peri started in 2021 but they've got worse over last 2 months or so- had a thorough eye test with scan in Dec-, all fine but said I could do with mild glassed (,yet to go back to buy some)
So getting back to my work scene- I then felt unsteady slightly with my eyes going all weird and a bit blurry. Staff did my blood pressure - 135 over 88. My Sat's fine too.
I was very scared as I've never felt faint or had this eye thing ever.
Now I have tried to go to 75mg in the past with very unpleasant reactions-, more the jitters and floaty head- but not this weird head and eye feeling.
Got to hospital they told me don't worry you've not had a mini stroke you are all fine however we will send you up to eye casualty just to check
They did all the tests going including scans - all fine
So- only thing is that my 75mg patch does not like me very much at all- I got home and took it off- replacing it with a cut down one making 66mg (what I was on previously).
So apart from some advice- I'd love to hear any stories regarding anyone's oestrogen being too high a dose? What symptoms you had?
Many thanks
Vicky xxx

Nasty experience!
Probably due to your body not wanting as much replacement? Why did U up. the dose?
Also, eye floaters should not be dismissed. If they are very evident then a referral to a specialist would put your mind at rest. Mine look like 'full stops' moving across the page ::) from L to right.
Keep hydrated. Get those feet up. When did you last eat? Were you bending your head over a lot ...... which can cause 'dizziness'.

Thanks for the reply CLKD
I always eat regularly...lots of protein too and I drink water all day and night.
Yes the hospital sent me to the eye clinic where a had numerous different scans ...all fine. I do need glasses though as told by the guy at specsavers in Dec!

So off you go ;-). I get my eyes tested at a posh [not Specsavers] shop then take the prescription to Boots - 3 x 1 ::). Unless the posh shop can put lenses into my current frames which saves hundreds£.
I love my distance glasses :-*
