Title: Ethical problem with chocolate
Post by: CLKD on February 27, 2024, 01:08:02 PM
:'(. the Company who owns Cadburys products continues to trade in Russia  :o

"Mondelez" - owns Philadelphia cream cheese, Toberlrone and Maynard Bassett's .........  apparently there has 'been no Shareholder pressure whatsoever to quit trade in Russia'  :-\

Main investors: Vanguard, BlackRock and Capital Group.  I wonder how many others are still trading .......

What do I do for my chocolate puddings  :'(

🤔. I’ll admit it is a consideration (and I’d rather they didn’t trade in Russia) but it’ll not stop me tucking into a Cadbury’s crème egg  ;D…….
During a recent cruise we stopped at Bruges. What a beautiful place. Especially beautiful was the sight that met me in the Belgian chocolate museum  ;D……….
3 huge jars with a tap at the bottom for dispensing as many white, milk and dark chocolate buttons as you wanted 😲. Hubby had to hold me back to let some kids go first  >:( 🤭
Best thing to do is - shove the kids out of the way, stick your head under the tap with your mouth open and turn it on

Well obviously you wouldn't fib would you??? So I shall indeed be writing to the Royal Mails Complaint Dept. I don't eat a lot of chocolate but when mine gets stolen....I turn into a screaming banshee.  There Will Be Words!   ;)

Bruges. Known for chocolate, beer and lace making.

If we do not buy products 'made in Russia' for example [other Countries are .... ] how much difference to conflict will it make?

Songbird: how is Hubby, has he taken on board that adults should check product placement first to protect the Innocent  :-\  :whist:
