Title: Marina coil plus utrogestan

I had a coil fitted on Tuesday.  My consultant told me to keep using utrogestan 200mg for the next six weeks till my coil check.  Has anyone any experience of this?  I'm progesterone sensitive and wondering if it may be too much

I was told to continue my utrogestan 200mg for a week when I had the mirena fitted.  The nurse said that was to make sure I was still getting enough progesterone to keep my womb lining thin until the coil was fully working.
