Post by: Kat2310 on January 30, 2024, 05:44:48 PM
Hi
I have been on evorel sequi for two years now. I'm 49 and still having a monthly bleed. I have now started spotting between periods half way most months. Any similar experiences or advice

MayB put the product name into the search box to read the threads relative to the prescription?  It may be that your hormones are over-riding the replacement.

Hi Kat2310

Yes, this happened to me. After being on evorel patches and utrogestan sequentially for just over a year, I started to have erratic spotting/bleeding. My GP suggested trying a continuous regime, which is supposed to stop bleeding and I've been on it for 4 months now. I have still had spotting at times and a couple of proper bleeds but nothing this month. The GP stated it can take 3-6 months for bleeding to cease on a conti regime, and I'm still peri so expected some erratic bleeding but I hate periods with a vengeance so am determined to stick with it. I also feel better on the conti regime, more stable and generally happy all round.
