Title: When get bloods taken to test absorbing

An post menopausal ( last period was Jan 23)Just switched to 50mg estradot patch. Do I need to wait a few weeks to get blood levels tested? Or after even a week, if I'm absorbing, will the bloods tell?

Thanks, already wasted almost years on gel to find I wasn't absorbing so I'd rather know asap re patches.
