Ladies

Sorry if this is a silly question but would it be ok for me to take testosterone if I am not on any HRT?

thanks x

I think you might have trouble getting a prescription for testosterone alone if you are not using anything else. It is said that T will convert to E if your E level is too low, and they normally like your E levels to be optimised before starting T. I'm sorry this is a bit vague, I am just giving you the official NHS/BMS line. Some private menopause clinics offer a "testosterone only" appointment, cheaper than the full meno service, but I think they would give the same answer.
