Hi all! I hope you all had a lush Christmas and New Year 😊  :)

I haven't been on here for a while as I have been pretty good, just dipping in here and there, thank goodness.   But for the past few days I've had terrible pounding heart, feeling sick and hot face again 😖 .

On the 17th December, I had a period for about 5 days (I'm usually pretty regular, but this one was a few days earlier than normal), then it stopped as normal, then I had light bleeding about 4 days later again for about 3 days.  Since this, I've had the above symptoms plus today loose bowels and feeling sickly with pelvic pain a little.

Is this normal? I've just turned 50 and I've had loads of heart tests, blood tests, and a recent smear which was normal.

I've been so grateful for feeling near normal for months (I'm sure the Fluoxetine has helped) but now I'm worrying again I've got some sort of weird disease and it won't go away.

Please can anyone advise or has anyone had similar? Thank you so much, this site is wonderful, my comfort blanket ❤

Hi it sounds pretty normal for peri menopause. Are you taking any hrt ?

Hi Dotty! No, I'm not, I tried several a couple of years ago, but felt no better, even felt worse 😖😁 I did give them a good go though xxx

Ok….sounds like what you’re experiencing is normal peri menopause symptoms x

HORMONES  >:(.  MayB your own are kicking in = upsetting your cycle.  When unexpected this sudden change can make us feel YUK!  My periods waxed and waned for several years B4 stopping.  Until then periods had been painful++, heavy, long ......... with accompanying nausea and dizziness.

I agree with Dotty. The only thing guaranteed is that everything will go haywire.

Hi CLKD ❤ Not really to be honest, feeling lightheaded, breathless, hot face and heart palpitations 😖 but holding on by my fingertips 😖❤ at least I know what it is xx

Hi no I don’t thankfully. The right dose and type of hrt stopped all my horrendous symptoms.
