Hi ladies, I've had to stop my HRT for 3 months under instructions from my Consultant as I have a pituitary tumour and need all hormones out of my system for blood tests.
Anyway I've been off it for 1 month now and I keep getting random spotting, tiny bits, never enough for a pad and always comes to nothing. Is this normal ? I'm 51yrs old. 🫣
I'm still allowed to use vagifem though as I get bad bladder urgency.

I just wanted to update and say that a few days ago I started a proper period. I'm hoping the spotting will stop after this. I've no idea of I'm in full menopause. I haven't really felt any different since stopping the HRT, I wonder if I was even absorbing it at all 🤔

It could be that your tumour is skewing things a bit so it's difficult to tell where you are in meno I would think?

Hi Taz, you could well be right, it might be the tumour messing up my hormones.
I've had a proper period and it's stopped now, will just have to see what happens now.

Are you keeping a diary of spotting/bleeding?
