Title: Tesco stuffing recall
Post by: CLKD on December 14, 2023, 12:52:00 PM
Customers can return the 130g packets without a receipt for a full refund, said Tesco, which apologised for the inconvenience.

The stuffing batch has a best before date of September 2024.

"We are recalling a single batch of Tesco Finest Apple & Cranberry Stuffing Mix due to the possible presence of moths which makes the product unfit for human consumption," Tesco said in the recall notice.

Tesco advised people who need further information to contact customer services.

Tempura cockroach legs - yummy 😋.
Just read about a man who received a grocery delivery from Morrisons. Apparently his pint of milk was, in fact, mixed with urine 😩🤢

It was a Mr Adam Bell. When I looked again, I see that it was a blue top bottle which was almost half filled with urine. The photo he posted was defo not blue top milk  :sick02:.
Morrisons is launching an investigation.
I'll stick with Tesco  :o

Village shop for us where we can buy most items.  Pizza, fizzy bottled water, pre-made pies we get from the supermarket.

I remember that my paternal grandma made everytihnig from fresh: mincemeat, stuffing, mince pies: she sent me to the butcher's for mince meat once, I was about 9: I got confused whether she wanted minced beef or mince meat in the jar.  Of course I hadn't cottoned on that she made the latter  ::) and embarrassed, I walked back to the house to check - no phones then - and back to the butcher's  :-\

When my children were young, at Christmas I used to make my own mincemeat, sausage rolls, Christmas cake etc. I even made a Christmas cake for my next door neighbour. I still make my own stuffing to my mum's recipe. Goes down a treat with friends! :)
