Title: Pain/weird sensation in chest
Post by: WildOtter on November 10, 2023, 09:22:25 PM
I'm 6 weeks into a new hrt regime and struggling with it. Getting a lot of pain/tenderness/weird sensations in my breasts and chest.  Is this normal?

Also anything I can do to ease it, it's driving me mad!

Hi wildotter

It could be a side effect of increased oestrogen - are your breasts sore? Mine are always sore when my oestrogen level is high so it could just be the settling in period and hopefully it will settle the longer you are on hrt.

What do you mean by chest? Are you having chest pains at all? And weird sensations - are you gassy or is it just pain?

Definitely gassy, but also like I've got a lump in my chest. And sometimes like I've pulled a pec muscle or something
