Title: Hiatus Hernia and Utrogeston taken orally
Post by: Pater01 on November 08, 2023, 01:09:08 PM
Hi all

Anyone with a hiatus hernia and taking a PPI had any issues with taking utrogeston orally.

I am asking as I have a hernia and currently on 2nd month on Evorel patches, but if I need to up my dose in future and want to go down utrogeston route I wonder if it will upset my stomach.  Not sleeping well on Evorel yet, but heard utrogeston is good for sleep.

Don't fancy a coil or gel or spray, but have people done well on those for sleep issues?

Thanks

You could try taking it vaginally and then you won't have to deal with digestion issues. This is only really practical for those taking it cyclically because few want to take continuous utrogestan vaginally.
