Title: When do I start taking Estrogen?

Hi all,

Following on from yesterday - I've got my HRT arriving in the next few days. When do I start the estrogen patches?

I'm on day 13 of my cycle currently so I assume I'm best waiting until Day 1? Cycles are a bit irregular lately though.

This isn't something I know the answer too so I hope someone can jump in to help you figure out the right date to start. In the meantime maybe try the search section to try to find out? Good luck with starting your regime too.

Hi Sarah,

So I've started estrogen today as well as progesterone tonight! Hopefully that will be ok but we'll find out!!   ;D

Don't forget it can take a while for the body to adjust, there may be some ups and downs but do post any worries or questions. Good luck! X
