Hi
Just a quick question!
I use Vagifem 5 times a week to keep troublesome bladder issues at bay.
Recently, over the last few months, I have suffered from persistent thrush.
My local GUM clinic tested for the specific strain (didn't tell me the results) but prescribed Nystatin pessaries for 2 weeks.
I can't stop the vagifem as bladder issues will return.
I've been using a pessary on a night, as prescribed, and my vagifem on a morning (would normally take on a night).
Is this OK?

Absolutely fine, I use my vagifem in the morning. We all end up having to do swings and roundabouts with our medications, important thing is not to stop them!
Speaking obviously from a non medical point of view! :)

Thanks so much! Was worried that they would be cancelling each other out, so to speak.
Will obviously revert back to nightly vagifem when thrush treatment ended.
It's a nightmare isn't it?

Oh yes. Lots of ladies on here have the added complication of thrush and vaginal atrophy together, might be worth putting some words in the search box, it can be very educational.

Will do! Thank you x
