Hello Ladies,I need a little help please.
I have been struggling for 10 years, probably 8 of them just crept up on me without realising.I have a Diastasis Recti after my children and my body don’t look in a good shape and looks worse because I’m so thin, as I have a huge belly. After taking matters into my own hands and coming to the end of my tether, I reached out to a women physio because after researching I realised I had a hypertonic pelvic floor and was never gonna be able to do exercises to help with Diastasis. toilet problems leaking and non existiant sex life was just the start, The physio tried manually releasing the tightness in my pelvic floo but between each session was back tight again. Her diagnosis was HRT so she sent a letter to my GP and so I made an appointment. She put me on femseven conti as I hadn’t had a period for 2 years so she sent me on my way with a 3 month supply.
I placed the patch on my hip, sort of under my knickers and for the first 7 weeks, I was waiting for improvement, however what came looking back was rage and emotional crying although not realising at the time.On week 8 the patch didn’t stick well and started to un ravel so I taped over it to keep it secure.before the week was out, I decided to replace it with a new patch because it was falling off and the flushes came back and that’s what the leaflet said to do. This time I put it on my bum, whether this was a better absorption or it had stopped working because it was like I was starting over because I was having terrible aching joints and still feeling rage and crying all the time and probably totally irrational.I’m week10 now and have to make an appointment next week with my GP, now my question is this particular HRT not agreeing as the side effects of severe joint pain and rage etc with me or is it just not strong enough and I could go upto the next strength which would be 75 I am not sure what to ask for as down below it seems to have done the trick and improved the dryness and prolapse feeling.I don’t think I could continue the way Iam much longer as I’m causing a bit of Agro at home.
Thankyou any advise would be amazing x

It sounds like the progesterone doesn't suit you, there are many different types it's just finding the right one. Good that the prolapse feels better and the estrogen is working.

Might be worth trying putting the patch on your lower abdomen then you can see exactly where the patch is.
Just have to switch from side to side to middle.
