Title: Red hot and blotchy face

Hi ladies just wondered if anyone gets red and hot blotchy face every so often so not like a flush as such more if a blotchy thing very red and hot ?

I have seen this on TV presenters sometimes  :-\.

Is it cyclical?

Hi CLKD yes seems to be but not every month it’s a horrible feeling and normally happens around 4-5pm and last for most of the night until I go to bed. Feels hot and a bit nippy 😟 makes me feel self conscious too

Of course it makes U self conscious.  MayB you need to seek advice about specific make up to cover the blotches? 

4-5 p.m. - that is when I feel that the air is the hottest during the Summer, almost like the temperature peaks .......... do U happen to have a hot drink around that time?

It sounds like a hot flush to me, maybe you are experiencing a fluctuation in oestrogen at those particular times. Are you taking hrt - maybe it needs adjusting.
