Title: Online (or Essex/Suffolk) Menopause Clinics - any recommendations on good ones?
Post by: SwimyAlice on September 15, 2023, 07:54:18 PM
Hi all,
I'm feeling a bit helpless trying sort out HRT problems via the NHS atm and wondered if anyone has had good experience with any of the many of online menopause clinics out there, or if anyone has had good experiences at any face to face Essex/Suffolk private clinics?
Thank you !!
Alice  :)

Hi @swimyAlice

I felt exactly the same as you, increasingly frustrated with GP and what they can/will prescribe (if you can even get an appointment that is). I bit the bullet and contacted a private practice in Norfolk - not sure if that's too far - and the difference was like night and day. I saw a consultant gynaecologist within 3 days.

I was going to go to Newsons but was put off by some of the reviews, plus distance-wise it was only feasible for a virtual consultation.
Maybe look at British Menopause Society website to see if anyone is in driving distance?
A x

Myla Health, in particular Dr Olivia Hum are Sussex and Surrey I think, although maybe a bit far for you. I've seen Dr Hum in Hove and she's great, very holistic.

Could I have the details of the Norfolk practice that you mention please? Thanks very much.
