Hi
I am peri-menopausal and take utrogestan 100mg on a 25/3 cycle and 2 pumps of oestrogel. My question is my bleed isn’t happening during the break from the utrogestan it always occurs a few days before. For instance I am due to have my break from Saturday this week but have started bleeding today so should I stop the utrogestan have the 3 day break now and then start the 25 days again or do I continue until the end of the 25th day on Saturday?

Hi SamjW - usually the advice is to continue taking the Utrogestan as usual to make sure you complete the course, but if it is consistently out of sync then perhaps worth trying to sync it by tweaking the cycle as you suggest. Really it is not going to do any harm especially if you are peri and it could be your own cycle kicking in because it means you may be ovulating and therefore producing your own progesterone.
