Just posting to see if anyone else has been on the same journey.
I am 60 years old and had an early menopause at 43. Started on femosten conti 1/5. I have interstitial cystitis so in 2009 started on vagifem too for that and vaginal atrophy. Added extra estradot 25mcg for a while and then went to Harley street to see a consultant as had episodes of bleeding he increased my estradot to 50 mcg with utrogestan. I tried that orally and vaginally. It made me feel dreadful so in2016 went back to femosten. I have continued with bleeding had a number of hysteroacopies all normal. I have sensitivity to most progesterone so femosten is the only one that’s suited me but now I’m 60 I’ve been told I should come off tablets. Anyone else been on this similar journey or have some thoughts?
