Title: Help please
Post by: Brownie on August 28, 2023, 09:28:05 AM
Hi ladies
Hopefully someone can help.

I have been on vaginal estrogen for 2 years now. I have also been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. I take Elmiron and amitriptyline for the IC. When I get really anxious (mainly about my health issues) it makes me pee (or want to pee) constantly. I don't really want to take another pill for anxiety+ yet another for OAB.
I know that full HRT can help anxiety but would it help OAB issues too ?
Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Do you mean overactive bladder? HRT will help if the bladder problem is caused from lack of estrogen. It wont hurt to try, if it don't help you can just stop taking it.
