Title: Sweaty scalp and head
Post by: Christine79 on August 12, 2023, 07:19:45 PM
I'm 2 months into my HRT journey and this has really helped my night sweats but I'm really struggling in the day with a sweaty scalp and head to the point that my hair feels wet. I'm so upset as my long hair always looks greasy and wet, this is especially worse on a warmer day.
Does anyone have any tips? I'm almost at the point of having to wash my hair daily which isn't fun with long hair.

Dry shampoo could help. You can buy a nice one from Lush. :)

I'd second a dry shampoo, you can use it just on the roots.

Thanks I'm already using dry shampoo, but I find it makes my scalp itchy! I'm tried loads of different brands too. 😕

Urgh my scalp sweating os worse than ever In this warm heat. Always got my neck fan on.
I'm finding that dry shampoo just clogs my scalp and I don't want to have to wash my hair daily as it's long. I fear one day I might have to try a short hair style  :o
