I have recently switched from Evorel 50 patches to Utrogestan and Oestrogel. I am peri and still having periods every 30-40 days but my GP has prescribed one capsule a day for 25 days with a 5 day break. The leaflet and most information I have found on the internet says the dose should be 2 capsules a day for 12 days if having periods. I’m not sure whether my GP has made a mistake and quoted the wrong dosage or whether I should follow what he says! Currently on day 16 of one tablet a day for my first cycle but wondering whether I should follow the leaflet dosage from my next cycle? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thank you.

Hi you are correct… the dosage should be 200mg on days 15-26 of your cycle.
If you are post menopause then it’s 100mg every day.
