Is there such a thing as a B complex pill that doesn't cause constipation???
-
Have you tried a lower dosage?

I think the one I have is just from Boots so it's not a heavy duty one. Maybe they just don't suit me

Hi Gnatty, if it's high in B6 that can be very diuretic so could lead to constipation. I used to take low dose Boots brand B group (at the RDA/RNI) but find anything containing B6 gives me the jitters these days.

Yes it was that one Wrensong. Interesting your comment about B6. I think I have noticed this before too. My diet is pretty good so I reckon I will just stop taking the B vitamins.

It’s interesting how vitamins affect people differently. I find that taking B6 for a week picks me up.

Taking B complex can affect your sleep, insomnia, I stopped taking them a month or so ago and my sleep has improved. We all think taking vitamins are good for us when some vitamins have the opposite effect and cause insomnia, allergic reactions, rare cases may also experience kidney stones from a high intake of this vitamin combination. Fact is most people do not need to take vitamin supplements and can get all the vitamins and minerals they need by eating a healthy, balanced diet.

I take them occasionally, never daily just perhaps twice a week and that suits me. I get side effects if I take daily and I eat healthily anyway.
