Title: Starting HRT - Timing ?
Post by: Chistlehurst29 on July 08, 2023, 03:58:57 PM
Hi everyone - ready to start Evorel 50 patches and utrogestan cyclical as still have regular periods

GP advised start patches on first day of menstrual bleed - however I am on holiday , period has come slightly early than expected and I haven’t brought the patches with me to start 😡

Question is should I wait til I get home and start which will be 5 days into my cycle or just wait til next month and start on day 1 ?

The reason I am asking is be use my friend was advised you can start patches up to 5 days into cycle ?

Thanks so much for helping

I would wait so that I know exactly where in the month I might be.  However; others I am sure will be along, probably with conflicting advice  ::)

Enjoy your holiday - we have a thread ;-).  I often found that periods were messed about when abroad.
