Title: Provera 5mg & Evorel 25
Post by: SamjW on July 04, 2023, 08:32:04 AM
Can I ask for those that are still having a cycle like I am. I’m to take the progesterone tablet Provera for 25 days and then have a 5 day break for a period. No-one has told me what to do about the patches though do I have a 5 day break of those or continue the normal twice weekly change of those? Completely new to this and confused. Thanks.

Your patches are continuous. Keep changing them twice a week. The break from the progesterone is to allow your body a bleed. Whatever you do, don’t stop the oestrogen patches.

Hi, I had Evorel patches and provera for a while, you just keep the patches on all the time, no breaks, change it twice a week plus any time it comes loose change it as well.
Then your period ought to come during the break from provera, although my body ignored provera and had periods when it felt like!

Thank you both. I logically thought this was the case but then started doubting myself. Peri-anxiety kicked in!

I suspect my body will ignore the Provera too and doors own thing periods have never ever been predictable for me so why would they start at 50  :burn:
