Hi there lovely ladies

A really stupid question, but is it normal to feel so strange? I'm 49 and I feel twitchy all over, mad palpitations and weird chest feelings, feeling weak, wobbly and hot face.  I know it's not anxiety as it doesn't feel linked to my mental health if that makes sense? It feels more like a physical thing.  Does anyone have anything similar? I've had heart tests etc and all is well.  I still have regular ish periods xxx

It's not a stupid question at all.
Yes you are still having periods but what you describe does sound very like peri menopause.
The not feeling right when tests show all is normal health wise really does sound familiar.
You are not alone.

Love your name - my Dad used to call me Sparkles  :)

Sounds like fluctuating hormones to me - I'm not a Doctor obvs - but given you say you've had tests and all is well with them it sounds very familiar to the wierd world of perimenopause.  I used to freak out when such symptoms appeared out of nowhere but now I just roll my eyes and think "it will pass". Hope they pass soon and you keep on sparkling x

Ahhh, thank you Limpy and Sparkles! I haven't posted on here for a while as I've been feeling pretty good apart from this occasional blip 😁❤ also, my joints ache awful some days too.  I started Fluoxetine a year ago and been feeling pretty good with the hot flushes etc.  I suppose I'm going to have occasional blip xxxx

Hi.  As hormone levels fluctuate we get blips.  A drop in oestrogen may cause aches and pains.  Do U take any pain relief?

I do, I take codeine but don't like to take it too much xxx

Codeine is too strong for me, I use 'nurofen' when necessary.

Fine most of the day.  As long as I don't plan too far ahead  :-\

No query is stupid, silly or un-necessary  ;).  Sometimes we even talk about menopause  8)

Ahh, it makes sense a bit.... ive just started having a very mini period in between periods.... well, this menopause lark is so much fun.... not...😫❤

Hi CLKD, yes I do 😁 .  I hope this isn't tmi, but I have a pink spotting on day 14 😕.  I dont have it every month, but it makes sense maybe why I feel so odd.... it's a weird feeling when you never felt so odd before...  I'll be growing a testicle next..... 😁😁❤
