Title: When do they expect the Utrogestan supply problem to end? and best alternatives
Post by: Noheroicsplease on July 02, 2023, 06:04:38 AM
Exactly that, really. Any intel on when supply will become more consistent?

And, also, if your GP is suggesting alternatives, what are the best ones? I'm guessing there isn't another body identical option. I'm on Evorel patch. I guess the combi patch makes sense...although I'm a bit scared of trying something new and hate the idea of a progesterone that is synthetic (especially since I've previously experienced hair loss)

I think the SSP is due to finish in August but they are forecasting the shortages to go on till the end of the year.

Sadly heard the same as Dotty from my pharmacist yesterday - I had heard August however he said there was talk about the end of the year 😞
