Did anybody else feel really rough eight weeks into taking HRT? I generally feel so unwell. Low mood, my backache, my legs ache and keep going really hot and replies will be grateful.
-
Have a :bighug:. I can't help. MayB put the product names into the search box individually to see any threads that pop up? Make notes ;-).
-
Thank you felt so good in the start of hrt no, I’m weak I feel absolutely dreadful
-
So sorry you are feeling so bad. Is it possible you have a bug and this is not HRT? Your symptoms sound like flu too.
-
Been like it the last 2 weeks I haven’t got a temperature at all that’s how my whole body feels like mood down just don’t know what to do

Maybe you could stop the HRT just to see if it is that? If you start to feel better quickly then you will know. This is just my opinion though.

I’m sorry you’re feeling like this too…are you able to say what HRT you are on? You could ask for a change as you should feel better, not worse.

Progesterone regime of HRT often throws awful symptoms .......... let us know how you get on.
-
Yes I will like I said my mood is gone down anxiety is high heart palpitations go really hot. My heart rate 132 this morning so I do really don’t know if it’s anxiety or the progesterone my appointment is at 11.30 and I will come back on and tell you what they say
-
I hope your appointment goes well.

So update been to the doctors, don’t think it’s my HRT I have low blood pressure which is causing me to go dizzy and hot I have been on blood pressure medication for about 1 and half years so might be able to come down. a dose. She said she want to get this sorted first, because it’s more likely my blood low blood pressure. I mentioned to her when I get out of bed this morning, that I whet really lightheaded and my heart rate went up to 132 I then said is that why my heart went high because my blood pressure was low and my heart went up high she said yes as your heart has to work harder to get your blood pressure up so for the time being I am to carry on with hrt until we sort this out and go from there
-
That's a start. DH has a home BP monitor which he uses at the same time each morning.
-
Yes I have one I had to start doing 4 days ago twice a day for just a review and it’s 95/68 the lowest and the highest is 113/77 and that’s why she said it is low and taking blood pressure medication on top is probably the cause
-
She said take normal 5mg for another 4 days the go down to 2.5mg for a week log what blood pressure is doing in morning and evening then go back and see her so hopefully I can get off the medication or go on lower dose yes I have never had blood pressure problems until I started going through pri menopause I am now on hrt now on week 8 been up and down I thought it was a side effect from that but looking like blood pressure I wandered if going on hrt has lowered it thank you for your help sam
