Hi,
Does anyone know if the following are the normal female ranges for the above blood tests? I have looked them up online before I have blood tests done next week for a review of HRT.
I am on Estradot 50, Utrogestan 100mg orally at night and Tostran gel twice weekly. Age 66.
Testosterone = 0.7 - 2.8 nmol/L
SHBG = 18 - 144 nmol
FAI for over 50 = 0.10 - 4.95 (according to Gloucestershire Hospital website)
Hope someone can answer or provide more info? Thanks

Hormonal blood tests are reliably un-reliable.
How do U feel? Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary useful.

My test results six months ago showed the following, both Nmol/L
SHBG - normal range 23.6 - 110.6
Testosterone - normal range 0.2 - 1.3
The results didn't give FAI but so I don't have this is my test results, I think it's something the GP calculates from the other two results.
I was 59 and 10yrs post meno when I had the tests (not sure if 'normal range' varies according to age!)
The ranges, taken from test results in my health record in the NHS app, are a little different to those you have in your post. The results also say "please note, due to a change in analytical equipment new reference ranges may be applied effective
26/09/22" I've no idea how different those reference ranges might be but my tests were Nov 22 so assume these are the new ranges.

Thanks ladies, I only requested a check as the BMS website you should get testosterone levels checked after you've been on T for over 6 months to a year.
I will see what happens, but I am definately much better on the Tostran, made a big difference!
