Title: Feeling disconnected
Post by: Pennylane on June 05, 2023, 05:33:15 AM
Hi ladies, I'm on elleste solo 2mg. Some times I feel OK, however every now and again I feel pretty emotionless a d disconnected, everything and anything irrates me and find problems with just about everything that I cant control in life. Sometimes I'm absolutely bursting with love for my partner n then next I cant even tolerate him.
I've no major issues in my life to .aye me feel this way so as usual I'm putting it down to menopause. Any advice?

Have you thought about swapping your hrt? I didn’t like elleste at all, and the wrong hrt can really do impact on your moods. Patches and gel are the gold standard these days, perhaps try these.

Wishing you well x

Hi Pennylane,

I use oestrogel and personally I find this works for me.

It's so easy and great to adjust dosage if you need to xxx

Hi. Which progesterone are you using or have you had a hysterectomy?

Have you had it long? I have friends who experienced low mood with the mirena
