Title: Decided on switching to sequential- but how?
Post by: Charliehorse1 on May 30, 2023, 08:37:32 AM
Morning everyone  :)

I posted previously about whether to change to sequential from continuous HRT because I'm almost constantly spotting and getting PMT symptoms . I've decided to try sequential from the start of next month, to see if it will settle things down or make them more predictable at least. I've been on continuous for about 7 months but was Peri when I started, so suspect I shouldn't have been.  I hope someone will be able to advise because I think I'm confusing myself !

I'm going to start using just the Sandrena gel from the 1st and then taking the Provera from days 15 - 26 . Does that sound right?

Also, I'm still spotting/light period and am likely to still be on the first, so do you think its it'll still be ok to change over whilst bleeding?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm trying to get things straight in my head before I start.

Any advice would be wonderful

I’m following this as I’m definitely menopausal at 69! My consultant has advised advised me to go back on sequi as I’ll know where i am with regards to bleeds.
