Title: Anyone else feel bad after an MRI?
Post by: HellsBells on May 23, 2023, 04:31:26 PM
I had a head and neck MRI today and felt really weird. It was a no-contrast hour long event, but I got tingling in my hands and feet and numbness. The radiographer told me this was normal and that I could feel fatigued. No doctor has ever admitted that before and there is no literature on it online. Also have burning tongue and coughing up loads of phlegm!
It did make noises like a jumbo jet taking off at times…

That sounds really horrible for you. I hope the radiographer telling you this is normal helps you to feel reassured. Hopefully tomorrow you will have recovered from the horrid side effects.

Well Taz2 that's ironic as I was heaving investigations for terrible vertigo!  ;D
