Title: Sudden onset brown discharge post meno

Morning, I’m experiencing v mild cramps, sore boobs and brown discharge 5 years post meno and on HRT (Oestrogel/utragestan). I’m normally healthy, the HRT regime suits me and I’m ideal weight, healthy eater and don’t drink. I exercise daily too and walk dogs. So this has come like a bolt from the blue. Am now waiting for a Dr call back tomorrow. The only thing different is I have just had Covid for the first time. Could there be a link? Naturally, being me, I’ve been consulting Dr Google and now I’m terrified of all the potentials. Has anyone else had anything like this?

Hi yes there are lots of reports of Covid upsetting hormones and hrt and causing bleeding.

Please step away from Dr Google. It is really not a good way of diagnosing anything. As the previous poster said, there are many reports linking Covid to period disruption.
Great that you are booked to see your gp just for reassurance though.
