Title: sequential hrt coping 2 weeks without

I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been on sequencial hrt for 4 months and I'm really not coping with the two week off. By the end of the second week my anziety is debilitating. I've still not had a period for more than 6 months (other than 2days of spotting). But my gp still wants me to wait and just increase the oestadial dose. Has anyone else had this experience, I really dont want to start antidepressants when the problem is clearly hormonal.

Hi Dogfish. What do you mean by two weeks off? Do you mean the progesterone? With sequential you use oestrogen continuously and add progesterone in for two weeks. Which HRT are you using. We will try to help you
