Title: Does oestrogen lower fsh and lh?

Hi, is it normal for hrt to lower lh and fsh? Thanks

Hi, I had been wondering (worrying, actually!) about this last year - specifically relating to FSH and posted here. The outcome was, yes, it does.

My FSH and LH were both raised before I started HRT and have both remained in the normal (pre meno) range since (three tests over a five month period). One of the normal FSH levels was borderline at 28.9. However I am peri and still fluctuating!

Thank you for replying. My fsh and lh were high before hrt and normal ever since. X
