Title: sequential hrt coping 2 weeks without
Post by: Dogfish on April 06, 2023, 10:51:43 AM
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong bit, just joined. I've been on hrt 4mths (menopausal) but I'm really struggling with the 2weeks off. Gp insists I can be continuous yet even though no period for 7+mths now. My anxiety is unbearable before I start again and I'm at the point of asking for something to help (was on antidepressants before finally diagnosed meno). Can I insist on continuous or should I just give up and go back on other meds?

Gp says can or can’t? I’d say if it helps and no periods at the moment just do continuous.

Can you explain exactly what you're on? When you say 2 weeks off is that off everything or do take oestrogen every day?
