So, i can confirm I am totally dependent on amitriptyline for sleep. No amount or type of oestrogen helps at all.
How do I feel about this? Mmm not great.
Anyone else dependent on a drug for sleep?
It’s crackers how I’ve ended up at the age of 51. Totally unable to sleep.

After many months of rubbish sleep, I tried magnesium tablets, worked brilliantly but my stomach didn't like them, now I'm on vit d (osteopenia) and my sleep has improved greatly, there's been much discussion on here of the benefits of this vitamin,my dr said that every woman should take it from peri onwards, I must say my anxiety and low mood has much improved on it too but of course after amitriptyline,I'm not sure if anything natural would help but certainly worth a try?
