Hi everyone. First time posting so really hoping it will help.
I'm 56 been on hrt for about 3 years I've been on different hrt patches but
I'm currently on100mg of utrogestan a night and 2 squirts of oestrogel a day.
All symptoms ok apart from extreme tiredness. I've been reading about utrogestan, would reducing my dose to every other day help. X

Hi Julesthommo67
Welcome to the forum
Just seen this on a menopause health website
"oestrogen used in HRT is the most active form of oestrogen and it's also a pretty big dose of it. This oestrogen is very stimulating. If we have already been dealing with quite a lot of stress, our nervous system can struggle to deal with this much stimulation"
I'm not sure taking the utrogestan every other day is okay as it is necessary to take it everyday in order to protect the womb lining. although I think some women do take it less frequently and I think alongside regular scans, as lots of women cannot tolerate utrogestan
I'm sorry I'm not much help, hopefully some ladies that take the utrogestan less frequently will come and be more help.
Take care xx

Is it the utro causing it? It this to me too so I use long cycle (6 week) cycle to give me more 'good' time. Are you using it vaginally?
