Title: Bleed

I am 65, ovaries removed 15years ago on HRT since, no bleed for 15 years, sudden intense period pain,low back ache started bleeding. Any help would be really appreciated am starting to get worried.

You need to make an appointment with your GP,  he will need to run routine tests. Have you had a break in your HRT or had diarrhoea if taken orally? Your lining could have thickened and may need a stronger progesterone. There's lots of reasons this could have happened so don't think the worst, but do get it checked out.

I agree with Deidre. Please make an appointment as soon as possible to get this checked out. You will probably find you will be fast-tracked but please don't worry that this means it is serious - it's just guidelines that have to be followed. Let us know how you get on won't you.

Another who agrees with this advice. All post menopausal bleeding should be investigated though it's far more likely to be a polyp or fibroid that anything sinister.
