Title: Crying!
Post by: floraljo on March 23, 2023, 11:29:32 AM
Hi,
I starter hrt in November and noticed immediately that I'd stopped weeping every 5 minutes. The last two weeks, I've started up again. I don't know it's oestrogen too high or low. I'd assume too high because my breasts are bigger this week too. I had a couple of brief mildly warm episodes for a day or two that stopped. How do I know if I need to increase oestrogen? Gp said only if I have vasomotor symptoms but I've not had any significant vasomotor symptoms even before hrt.

I'm worried about whether I'm absorbing the oestrogen since my shbg is high. But then I think maybe I am given that I saw a very quick change in mood when starting the patches.

I would leave it and see if it settles. The bigger boobs are usually too much oestrogen so perhaps you're having a spike of your own. Is it possible you have pmt?
