Hi
Does anyone know whether beta carotene is recommended to help strengthen pelvic floor?
Has anyone taken it, and has it helped?
I have read (on one website only though, although a good one - kegel8 & Stress No More), that it is considered a safe source of vitamin A, and helps your body produce collagen, and keeps cartilage strong and supportive. It also states that taking this supplement is essential for a strong and supportive pelvic floor especially endopelvic fascia (collagen-rich connective tissue).
I have tried to research further on it, but to no avail. So wondered just how good it really is before I start.
Thanks :)
