Title: Best thing to do?
Post by: KaraShannon on March 16, 2023, 06:24:24 PM
Hi all

It's possible I messed up my estradiol patches just a bit while I was ill recently, I was in bed and so they kept coming off and I kept putting new ones on.

As a result, I think I should have had a new estradiol patch today BUT tonight it the switch to the combined patch.  I should really have put on a new estradiol last night and had it for the whole of today before the switch.

I was feeling a bit off today but didn't get around to sorting it.  Should I just go straight to the combined patch tonight now?  I usually put them on at midnight before I go to bed, so I could have 6 hours now of a new estradiol, which I think my body is looking for.  But it's a waste as well.

Maybe just put a combined one on earlier?

I would carry on.  It's not as though the replacement disappears suddenly.  Let us know how you get on.

I'd just carry on with your usual routine so you can get back on track. It's easy to get them muddled up when you're not well.
