Morning all.
I now get my prescriptions though LLoyds direct and I've had no issues until my latest prescription for Provera - Medroxyprogesterone.
They have been on order waiting for stock for 20 days and I have now ran out. They told me they can email me a bar code which I can use to collect them from another pharmacy but I can't find anywhere with stock.
I was previously on Utrogestan but they made me quite ill so I had to switch to Provera. Out of desperation, I tried one again last night to see if maybe I might be able to tolerate them in the short term but no. Woke up this morning feeling like I'd been hit by a bus again, so that's not going to work.
I've looked online to see if I could buy a supply from somewhere but don't really know how that works and I'm not sure if I could use the barcode Lloyds send me to get them through another online pharmacy.
Has anyone had a similar issue? I have non to take now and don't know how long I can go without and continue my HRT. Its so frustrating, because I had just got to a point after 4 months of fiddling with gel dosage etc that I was starting to feel myself again :(
Any advice would be wonderful

Hi have you looked on the boots prescription checker ?
Unfortunately it’s just a case of ringing all the pharmacies in your area. x

I've tried ringing loads over the last few days and tried a few that were open this morning. But no luck.
I've now actually gone ahead paid for some online and they will be here on Tuesday, not ideal but at least I know Ive got some coming.
I'm not sure what to do about my gel now, am I ok to take it on its own for a couple of days, or should I leave it? I don't fancy not taking it, as I feel so much better now I've up my dose.
Oh the joys!

I think you’ll be ok to carry on with the gel for a few days.

Thanks Dotty, that's what I'll do :)
